  2. FIT
    Pool Run 01:15

A friend asked me last night if this was actually a workout. I said it was better than crying on the couch. Mostly "long-run effort" but with some 2-lap pickups every so often.

Do you have music in the pool? I bet you could use the distraction. I love mine. Google the neptune, it's a game changer in the pool. :)

I have a somethingorother for my Shuffle (with one dead earphone!), but apparently I drained the shuffle battery last week. Just charged so it's ready for tomorrow. It really is a game changer!

Awesome! I couldn't get my husband to swim for more than 30 minutes because he got so bored, but now he's good.

    good Swim 1000 m

Played a game called "see if you can make it through this 300 without Victoria lapping you." Lamented my slowness until I realized it was a meter pool, then felt slightly less lame.

    good "Pool" "Run" 00:15:00

Thaaaaaat was hilarious. Less than 4 feet of water. Moved around in it with Victoria. I don't even know.

    USF Masters 2250 yd 01:00 46:56 pace

My lane-mate introduced herself at the end of the swim by saying "You're in the old-people swim!" Ha. But ... I'm too slow for the young-people swim, so old-people swim it is.

Boo injury! Bonus: I bet your triathlon swim leg gets wayyyy faster (I know that happened to me when I had a knee issue and could only swim). Hope you're better soon.

    Oakland Aquabike - Bike 40 km 01:25 17.5mph pace

Thanks, current! Honestly, looking at other results of people my age, I should have been able to take this even faster. I think I swung too wide on the long (faster) part of the course.

Christina -- if only I knew! it has been diagnosed as 3 different things so far but seems to be basically "plantar fasciitis plus." The most recent theory is that the actual injury is to the padding of my heel and everything else just spiraled out from there...
