  1. RUN
    good Camarillo 11.2 mi

Only two extremities are on ice! Suddenly Memphis seems doable.

  2. RUN
injured wrong side of the tracks 1.5 mi 00:16 10:39 pace

Getting back out there post ankle sprain. Still hurts, but the most painful part is watching my pace.

Soccer sidelines, that sounds like my kind of workout. Speedy healing to you!

Keep going! I'm sidelined, too. Can't wait to get out. So much so, that I visited this site without a thing to post. (Unless you count standing on soccer sidelines for six hours as an exercise.) Ice bags and ibuprofen for you!

  3. RUN
    blah The Brook 2.63 mi

In case there was any doubt, I can now confirm that fish & chips is not a smart pre-run meal.

  4. VELO
great Codgers Track 7 mi 00:55 7.6mph pace

  5. FIT
good Vinyasa flow @ Founders 01:15

This class kicks my butt. Every. Time.

  6. VELO
great Codgers Track 7.18 mi 00:55 7.8mph pace

Beautiful day, fun ride on my favorite trail. Wish I could do this more often.

  7. RUN
alright Maitai River trail 3.13 mi 00:34 10:51 pace

Legs are dead. Time for a break.

  8. RUN
good Branford Reserve / Maitai Riv... 3.92 mi 00:40 10:12 pace

    Rainy, muddy trail run. Fun!

  9. RUN
    blah 3.5 mi 00:42 12:04 pace

Crazy steep trail with beautiful views that I couldn't fully appreciate due to lack of blood flow to brain.

  10. swim
    Nelson Women's Triathlon 133 yd

Total finish time was 1:06:32. Cutest, teensiest triathlon ever.

  11. VELO
    Nelson Women's Triathlon 12 km

I only timed the run. No idea what my bike or swim times were. They don't believe in microchips or split times here. It's like they're doing this fun or something.

That's crazy. Please introduce the concept of unhealthy competition to those people. They're obviously too far away from American global influence and need a little direct attention to negate their carefully crafted, millennia-long indigenous culture.

No kidding! Some good ol' American drive to outdo your neighbor is just what this balanced, peaceful society needs.

Balanced and peaceful? That is so un-American. WHO DO THEY THINK THEY ARE? And what's with the face tattoos? Why do they all want to look like Mike Tyson?

  12. RUN
    Nelson Women's Triathlon 3.1 mi 00:28 09:01 pace

Very pretty run along the Maitai River. One great thing about racing with a bunch of women is that nobody lets the cattle gates slam shut in the next runner's face. So polite, these ladies.

  13. swim
    alright 333 m 00:12:00 57:59 pace

I'd forgotten how mind-numbingly boring lap swimming is. Felt great afterwards, though.

Laps. Ugh. Good luck on your triathlon, though. That sounds awesome.

I signed up for a mini-triathlon a while back and just realized it's this Sunday. So, one bike ride and one swim and that will have to qualify as "training." Thankfully, it's ve... read more

You made a Neil Finn reference while in New Zealand. Who gets to do that other than New Zealanders? And, I suppose, people who vacation in New Zealand. And people working on Lord of the Rings movies. But you, too. Bonus points!
