  1. RUN
    good 6 mi 01:07 11:05 pace

First time running in two months. No reason why I stopped other than I lacked all desire or motivation to run. I am hoping today's run was the first step of getting out of my summer funk.

Nice effort John! It's not easy getting back to the runs even after a short break so kudos on picking things up again.

Not bad doing 6 miles after 2 months of no running! I had a similar break and only managed a 5k on my first run back.

  2. RUN
    alright 16.5 mi 02:53 10:27 pace

Planned 20 but cut it short at 16.5. Hammy was tight but I am OK. Decent run all in all. Got to run with 3 others crazies! So it was all good!

  8. RUN
    blah 26.4 mi 05:09 11:41 pace

This was brutal!! 30 degrees warmer today than normal (75 degrees F) and everything is in bloom. I think I have seasonal allergies that may require an inhaler. Damn it, it was hard to get full br... read more

Sounds like a terrible experience but your mental endurance evidently kept things together and you got it done - not many can make that claim for a marathon.

  17. RUN
    good 6.09 mi 00:52 08:36 pace

27 degrees F is a challenging temp to figure out what to wear. I got overheated, too many layers. Good run none the less.

you just need to hire a Sherpa type of guy to run with you and carry your layers for you, so you can easily shed them as you warm up. ;)
