Awesome job! Sounds a little like a relay I've run a few times (minus the ice) called Dances With Dirt. I think we are short a runner at the moment if you're interested in running through swamps, run rivers, through lakes, etc. :-)

Technically it was a walk/run...doing the Couch to 5k program and today was day 3 of week 1...Its coming along!

Kate
I also got a migraine at the end of the run once I stopped running and sat down...maybe the blood started to pool I dont know but 50% of my 5k races end in migraines does this happen to anyone else??

Be careful with the five fingers...make sure you work the mileage/speed up slowly and listen to your body. I've read quite a few stories about people with Metatarsal and other injuries from doing too much too soon in five fingers/barefoot running (uses the muscles differently).
