    single speed'ed the whole time.. mid front, 3d rear.. low enough that 15 is a FAST spin but the uphills make you get up on it to get uphill..

      dumbphone here too. No other sites. After 50 plus years of a variety of training in many areas what is a fitness site going to do for me ? Get me motivated ? For what ? As a fitness person for a long time I do know I am in my last miles of life's marathon. I am going to coast in to the finish line easily.

    more rounds at the park.. Lowered my tire pressure from 80 to 60 to deal with the gravel parts a little better.. makes the paved parts feel like riding in 2" of glue..

      In the mid to late 1950's my cousins lived on a dairy farm in Vermont. We went to visit and ended up doing a several mile woods hike. I caught a 5 foot black snake and threw it at Bobby. He thought it was a bike tube and caught it. He is still mad at me.

      Actually, after looking it up I am pretty sure its a Black racer.. just as harmless to people. but not a black king snake.. wrong coloring and body shape.. Did see a black rat snake today as well as a black king snake.
