RUN
good 7 mi
Over half-way to half marathon goal! Had to stop and walk twice, about 1/10 and 2/10 of a mile after 3 miles. I felt pretty good, and I am glad I finished despite all the rain and wind today.

Thats awesome Kelly! When is your half? Mine is January 16th, if I don't chicken out.

Amanda, you are doing so awesome. I love reading your posts. You better not chicken out for your half. I totally understand, though. I am getting nervous just thinking about it! Mine is Feb. 13th. You will do great and will feel so good when you are done! Hang in there!

Thats wonderful Kelly. I'm so impressed that you can do as much as you have being preggo. It gives me hope for when I have my next one. Has your OB given you any problems with it? I haven't talked to Dr. Williams, but Dupre and Griggs have both told me that I can't get my heartrate over 140. I'm not sure if I completely agree with that logic though.

My OB is really laid back, so she has been fine with it. I think if the baby wasn't growing well, she would def. make me quit, but we had our 20 wk ultrasound yesterday, and he is right in the 50th percentile, so I guess it's not affecting him too much! As for the heart rate thing, I have to say I knew that at the beginning (from Dr. Griggs telling me when I was pregnant the first time) but I can't say I have been able to keep it under that. But I run a high resting heart rate anyway.
