Haven't felt like running the last few weeks. Today was an exception. Felt good to get out there and put in a few miles. It seems to get harder and harder to recovery mentally after a big race.

    It's hard to imagine running the distances you do and then ever wanting to run again, ever. At the same time, I'm guessing it's just part of your DNA at this point!

    Way to get out there Kelly! I have no idea what it's like recovering from the kind of miles you race, but I have a feeling your body will tell you when it's time to run and time to take it easy.

    Amen. There are times when I feel like I have to push myself to get out the door - I dread the thought of running, but once I'm out on the street, all of that dread fades away...

    It's true. the first time I run after a race I wonder how I ever did it, but that seems to go away after a few weeks. Glad you got out there and got the miles in though :)
