NC MARATHON....ran the half 13.1 mi 02:40 12:12 pace

YAY!!! I finished my 1st half marathon!! My hips hung in there....they actually feet better while I am running as opposed to walking, which is super weird!! They are definitely bothering me now though, but it was worth it! I felt great the 1st 8 miles and then I began to lose energy...the hills were insane and towards the last 5 miles I couldn't run them anymore, so they had to be walked! Considering I really didn't get any good training in the past 2 months for this thing, I hung in there, but it was tough! Now, I need to prep for the 2nd one in 3 weeks in Charlotte....I hope it's not as hilly!! :)
