Can I just say I loved this run?! I took the pooch with me today because the weather is just too nice for her not to get out and enjoy it too. Before I headed out, I warmed up with some yoga. The run went smooth, and I pushed it when I needed to. I think it would have been even better had I not waited so long after breakfast to go. My tummy was growling mid-run! Aside from that, I had no pain by the end of it and finished up strong. Yay!

Never thought to do yoga before a run...interesting

Yeah I started doing a 15-20 minute yoga routine for hips and flexibility before I head out. It seems to help get my muscles relaxed and warmed up. I haven't had pain in my hip flexor for the last two weeks, so it must be doing something!
