I went into this run knowing it would be hot and slow. Having that mindset going in made this a great run. I usually do an out and back for my 5 miler, but I changed plans mid-run as there was a lot of grass mowing by the schools and along the bike path, which makes me really itchy. I decided to cut back through some neighborhoods which ended up making my 5 miler into a 6 miler and added some rolling hills.

Other than being hot and slow, I felt really good. Legs felt strong, even going up hill! This is where Marie is going to chime in and say, "I told you so!" <----She kept saying this after her killer workout when I was sore for days after. She said I would thank her.
