    And over two months later, I log another run. Crossing fingers the weather is decent on tuesday and I can add another one to the week.

    *correction: 3 months later. seesh!

    Apparently I am now running only once a month. Not good. At least now fall is here and the weather is great so hopefully this will, at the very least, turn to once a week and then I'll go from there.

      uh oh. Just realized if I was going to do the Music City Half Marathon I should've started training last week...eek!!

      That may be a little late. The race is October 2nd! The Country Music Marathon is probably what you're talking about. It's confusing. Too many "music" races in Nashville.

    great neighborhood walk with the bf 2.9 mi

    Walked to Dragon (aka Fanny Mae) Park and back. I love this walk because we get to admire the amazing houses along the way.

      Did I mention that Nashville is strangely hilly? It kind of blows my mind and am always surprised when I come to big hills. You'd think after living here for 5 years that I would be used to it. I guess it's just the Oklahoman in me. Flat land is where it's at. (at least when it comes to running)

    Just guessed on the miles. It might be more. I just sort of went with whatever today and was happy to be out doing something before it got too hot.

    There was a good amount of walking on this one. Kept getting a side cramp and was dying of thirst at the end. Also, the heat and humidity is starting and I don't like it at all!!

    I was trying to take it easy because my knee is acting up. I've sort of jumped back into running again so I think it's in a little bit of shock. Time to start icing.
