      i feel you kate. mine insn't injuries, it's having a messed up morning schedule. i can't seem to consistatnly get up at 415 am. i just want to stay in bed!! the days i do get up are the ones, i just keep reminding myself "yes this sucks, but within 5 minutes of your run, you will feel soooooooo wonderful and u have a 1/2 marathon coming up on halloween!" good luck!

      Be careful, Kate. Shin pain is bad...I've basically taken the whole week off because of it after what was a really good week for me last week. It can knock you out if you don't respect it. Take it easy and consider your options. *sincere*

      That pace is nothing to scoff at!!! Please don't run every day... it probably won't get you out of your rut, but instead lead you further into runner's slump... and maybe even overuse injury. You need rest and fun!

      Don't be so hard on yourself. You'll break out of the slump. Remember how much you love to run and focus on that. The other things will fall into place once you take the pressure off. Here's a smile to help you out [HUGE grin]
