    getting used to the water running. Alternated x-country style (on rests between intervals) and scanned the horizon. 8 x 5:00 hard with 1:00 between each, 10min w/u and down. Hips hurt today and knees so dead due to too much breaststroke yesterday.

    out and back to the reef (only choppy - not like yesterday's stormy water) for 30 min then 25 min of "cross country" water run. Oh, and in addition to a torn calf muscle, I'm now sporting a broken toe.

      Sorry to hear, Kathy. After repeated calf issues, a broken toe is really a stroke of bad luck. Hope for quick recovery!

      Know how you feel. I nursed a torn calf muscle a few months back and it drove me crazy. PT helped but it sure was boring while I wad doing it.

    58 minutes in a storm - almost got sucked out to Cozumel. :) 10 min w/u and w/d and then 8 x 5:00 hard with 1:00 between each. I'd call that 5 miles plus.

    10 min w/u and w/d then 2 x 5 x 1:30 with 30 between and then 5 x 2:30. Much preferred the longer "runs". Water running. Calm seas today. Lovely.

    Laddered the water run - 1-1-2-1-3-1-4-1-5-1-4-1-4-1-3-1-3-1-2-1-1- with warm up and down. Sigh. Miss the road. Water a little choppy.

    I'm calling that 3 miles. 35 minutes water running. It was more of a workout than my usual 3 mile Wednesday run.
