St. Paddy's race #2 - 5K in Balto

BoMF had a huge group for this race, and it was great to see everyone. I also finally got to meet Thomas N (resplendent in Dailymile shirt). I ran with David, Samantha and Bonnie. We stuck together for most of the race, but in the last mile Bonnie turned up the juice and dropped us like a bad habit. I tried to stay with her, until I looked at my watch & saw we were doing an 8-minute pace. Too fast for me, so I slowed up. I finished strong, and I've gained a lot of confidence from the mileage I did this weekend.

I saw you pass me on the course lady. You looked strong. I don't think that pace was too fast for you. You got it in you!
