RUN TO THE BEAT HALF MARATHON, EAST LONDON 13.1 mi 02:18 10:31 pace

A good run for me, especially as it was not the flatest course, a clothing malfunction caused some chaffing issues which means tomorrow I will be walking rather strangely, not sure how I am meant to stand up in front of a class full of 15/16 year old boys and teach them about the pit falls of teen pregnancy! Anyway the body held up, a toilet stop added on at least 3 extra minutes, but I just had to go. Achilles held up beautifully, feel as if I am getting stronger the gym workouts. are paying off. Once the race was over ended up having to walk over 40 minutes to a train station, due to a complete transport melt down at the event, no tubes, unable to get on a bus,turned into a bit of a nightmare with me hobbling away, that kind've spoilt the whole thing for me!
