I'm focused on the beautiful tattoo now ... damn ... that must have hurt a bit ... but the result is awesome! New body art?

If you're concerned about the break ... consider 'active' recovery rather than full on 'rest' on your days off. On my 'days off' I often go to the gym and perform a light (low intensity) core work out ... alternatively i might ride my bike at an easy easy pace for an hour. This will keep your engine running over the rest days without putting much demand on your body. It works for me! Advice from my pro-roadie race coach.
