      Nice work out there. When my calves are tight I use a tennis ball (sit on the floor with legs extended, place a tennis ball under the calf and roll both along and against the grain of muscle)

      Nice work this am. Hopefully lots of women are dusting off the booty shorts in preparation for the Po Po. By the way, at the Philly Zoo 5k I just did, one of the male runners was topless and wearing bicycle shorts (you know, like super tight ones) UNDER what looked like a pair of Speedos. It was not a good look. Let's hope you don't run behind anything like that on race day.

    Decided to swap a 6 miler for boot camp today. My hamstring & foot hurt from the half I did Sunday. Taper madness? Who knows? 12 days!

    great San Francisco Diva's Half 13.1 mi 01:45 07:58 pace

    56* and windy in CALI! Ran at marathon pace (ok maybe slightly faster) and placed 39th out of over 3000! :) felt great. Two weeks today is the big one!

    I'm conservatively putting that we've walked 5 miles since I got to CA yesterday. I'm still adjusting to the time change. Tomorrow's half should be fun! ;)
