Can anyone help me with workout ideas to build up from 5ks to 1/2 marathons?? Need some experienced runners advice!
-
you can find some training plans online ... runners world . has smartcoach .. you can print out a schedule ... how many days a week are you running now..? how far is your long run now..? .. are you currently doing any type of speed work..?
there is a group that runs from UC every week day @ 5pm. I run with them a few nights a week ... come out some time ..almost 2 years ago • Like

Thanks for the advice! Thats great. I am actually fairly new to running without a basketball attached to me. I usually run about 4 times a week- working on building up more times, mileage, and speed. My long runs are only about 5 miles right now and I rarely do speedwork unless im on the bball court (which i want to change). - I never thought about a running group because im afraid im too slow and dont run as far as most of them but would love something like that. Thanks for your help.
