Having not run consistently in weeks, I would have been happy with anything under 1:30. Obviously, my legs were fresh, but I've clearly lost some fitness. My heart rates were a little high. After the first mile, I settled in and mostly cruised until the last quarter of the fourth mile when I started to experience some fatigue. I was able to recover and had my best mile in the fifth and finished relatively well. Unlike last year, the weather was perfect. We started in the low 50s.

Good job pushing through ... I feel ya with the fatigue factor. Experienced it today in a run. Now that my foot is better, I'm ready to reclaim what I've lost. Glad you could get this one done!

Congratulations on exceeding your goal. Maybe this run will get you back on track for training. I was at the same race and ran the half marathon. I was like you in that I haven't been training religiously. But that race motivated me, and I hope to be an encourager to you as you train daily and weekly. Again, way to go!
