I appreciate everyone's concern. The last two weeks have been very busy in terms of work with an accreditation visit and all the things that have to be completed towards the end of a college semester. My left foot feels great, but a physician has cautioned me that I could have a recurring stress fracture. (The recurring part is my description.) Basically, his theory is that I run on it for 6-8 weeks and the fracture develops, but then I stop running for a week or two or three and it starts to heal. The foot feels better, but never fully heals. His examination did not reveal a stress fracture in the foot, but he is recommending x-rays and a bone density scan. Since the examination didn't reveal anything, he said that I could continue running, but if I felt any pain I should stop immediately.

I have a few workouts to post and I will comment on the great weeks that I'm sure all of you have had. However, I need to complete some work-related items first. Again, thanks for the motivation and the well wishes.

Glad to hear from ya! :) Sorry to hear about the foot issues, though. Do you have access to an elliptical to have less pressure involved?

Thanks, everyone! @Kim, my experience with the elliptical two weeks ago was actually more painful than running.

Thanks, Anne! The stress fracture has not been confirmed so I'm hoping his theory is wrong ;->
