  1. RUN
great White Rock Lake - the east side 4.25 mi 00:47 11:03 pace

On my way home from morning run, and the park still looked so inviting, I decided to do another mile...and another and another. Must be the new shoes!

  2. RUN
good White Rock Lake 5 mi 01:00 12:00 pace

Morning run with Vikki, followed by chocolate milk

  3. RUN
blah White Rock Lake 5 mi 01:00 12:00 pace

Started with the ghostly hand rising from under the bridge while I stretched. (Police have not confirmed if it was a prank). It was 85 degrees, 4 pm, but the live scenery was stellar.

  4. RUN
good White Rock Lake 6.2 mi 01:08 10:58 pace

First couple of miles were really yucky. Saw a flock of wild parakeets (yes I took a picture), and it changed my attitude to gratitude, and I decided to just enjoy the day. Surprise! A good run ... read more

  7. RUN
blah In the windy arctic tundra 5 mi 00:54 10:48 pace

Worked the hills one more time - no intervals, tempo was the goal. Took time out to show a couple of tourists the view from the Overlook. Seeing our lake through their eyes...priceless.

  8. RUN
good White Rock Lake 5.1 mi 00:58 11:22 pace

It was a humid 85 degree October morning - thank goodness for morning cloudcover and a breeze on the way back! Vikki and I did a nice little out and back.

  9. RUN
great Coyote Alley and Spillway Ove... 8 mi 01:30 11:15 pace

Testing the effects of Crytherapy on hills and speed work - it really made a difference in my asthma, and my recovery times. Got less than 3 weeks till San Antonio....

  10. walk
great in the 'hood with my posse 3 mi 00:42 14:00 pace

My knees are a little cranky after the hills last night, and the boys are sacked out on my lap with full bellies.

  11. RUN
good WRL Spillway Hill 3.5 mi 00:42 12:00 pace

Up and down and up and down. 100 strides from the bottom of the hill (using the end of the bridge as start) to the first light past the fountain at the top. Sounds easy, right? It is just under .... read more

  14. RUN
    good 5 mi 01:00 12:00 pace

2 miles of intervals with the shorties at the track, then 3 miles all by myself at the lake. The shorties are making me faster, according to my aching thighs. The extra protein from the bugs at t... read more

  16. RUN
great White Rock Lake 4 mi 01:10 17:30 pace

Intervals with the shortest pacers in history. Yep, me and 2 dachshunds. I know we gave folks a chuckle.

  17. RUN
