    Feeling fitter - training starting to pay off again. Lots of varied inclines today - not quite a mountain!

    couldn't face a -11 degree run so went to the gym instead.

    Set the treadmill to an incline of 6 and pumped it at 8k. Varied the incline every 5 mins. Figured it'll help for the alps!

    1st run on the treadmill at my new gym. Not too shabby. Set the incline to 1 though as 0 just felt wrong.

      I always set my incline higher on the advice of the coaches I have worked with, who have told me that 0 due to the pull of the belt can lead to feelings of downhill running.

    lovely fresh run this morning. Followed by a tour of my new gym. Picked up some healthy stuff from holland n barratt & promptly put my back out carrying it home. :-((
