    Been nursing a wonky shin this week. I aggrevated a shin splint in last week's Friday Fit Club. We were doing a lot of jumping and I guess I wasn't ready for that.

    Did a mile up around 8:30, felt decent. Then did 2 miles at a 7:00 average, felt ehhh. Then a mile cooldown, which killed me... In the books and did 10 minute row.

      Ha! I remember before one of the Bowling Green races complaining to you about how tired I was from teaching all my aerobics classes. Now I think you get it :-) I do not know how I was doing that 10 times a week and racing on top of it...

      Me neither! That stuff is crazy. ... but fun. Makes you appreciate that running gives a person a great base, but there is more to it than that. Wish I was more well rounded.

      Nice, does rowing have a direct impact on your running? I imagine its a good core workout.

      Just started rowing. I hope it stregthens my core and upper body. It's also a good cardio workout. I hope to build on it and see what it can do for me. I know people that love it and swear by it, thought I'd try it out with my running.

    Hopped on the mill. Started out at 8:50 and bumped it down every half mile for miles ending at a 7:24 pace for the last half. Then did a mile down at 8:30.
