Good for you! It takes guts for a guy to try yoga...but you will benefit in so many ways. The type of class you go to is really important. Try to find a beginner's class or a restorative type class at first, don't start with a power yoga class - those people are trying to get a workout, not just stretch.

Yoga will make a huge difference in your running game. I am not very flexible either, but yoga is really about individual practice. I agree with Rose, find a beginner class and you will get along just fine. Be patient.

Laura, I enjoyed spin. It was tough since they weren't traditional spin bikes, but real ryders that moved like a real bike. You really moved like you were on a road bike. Biggest issue, my ass hurt afterward. Oh also, bike wedgie. I went out and got spandex shorts to lessen the riding up effect. Let's see if works next time.
Always open to suggestions for next time.
