Not sure exactly how long this "5k" race was, but it was around 3.6 miles. Apparently the volunteers sent us the wrong way. Still, fun to meet fellow DMer Janine at the finish line, and to get in a chilly (17F !!) and hilly morning run.

    Thanks, Lynn and Kate. I slowed dramatically towards the end. I need to get working because I'd like to hold that pace or faster for an 8k, so this was a good indicator I'm not there yet. And Janine, you had a great time, too. I just looked at the official results. Too bad they didn't accommodate for the new distance, since it's showing us at an 8+ minute pace.

    And Christie, sorry I missed you there today. I took off right after the 5k was done.
