Took a break from work for a quick run on the trail, in the snow. Nice out there, although the trail was frozen and rutted, so it was a pretty good ankle workout.

    Thanks, Janine. How funny we go all winter with barely any snow and cold, and now two days before the race we get these slick conditions. But sounds like it might be sunny and a bit warmer by Sunday. Let's hope, right?

    Lynn, yep, running a 5k Sunday in Highland Park (Janine, you running the 5k or 10k). It's the Northshore Love Run ( http://www.northshoreloverun.com/ ), although since my wife hates running outside and hates the cold even more, I'll be solo. :)

    Will do the 5K with my husband (he shares the dislike for running with your wife!) so a 5K is all I can convince him to do.
