      It was a super run. The shoes are New Balance 810 trails. I had a lower spec pair of NBs when I first started running and I did like them so I'm trying them again after running in Sauconys for the last few hundred miles. Initial reports are favourable!

    Out early for a long one round Rempstone. Heard my first cuckoo. Felt good to be out early in the May sunshine, though there was a wicked headwind on exposed parts of the route. Very pleasant.

    Out to the coast path and west to Seacombe. Up the valley and along to Worth Matravers, then down East Man, up Seacombe again and home on the Priest's Way. A beautiful evening.
