good morning run 4.37 mi 00:49 11:07 pace

Our morning group was just Eileen and me today. I jogged the first half mile up to Starbucks and met her there. We took a couple breaks. One because her chest was feeling congested, and another ... read more

  2. RUN
good Morning group run 4.16 mi 00:47 11:10 pace

Met up with the same ladies from last week's morning group, plus a few more. I felt a little stiff from the 20, and just felt more sluggish in general, but not a bad run!

  3. RUN
alright Lakefront long run 19.84 mi 04:13 12:45 pace

A little bit shy of a 20 miler by my watch, but I'm calling it close enough! This was a tough one for me, so I'm super grateful I had awesome people along with me.

  6. RUN
    alright cutback week run/walk 10.97 mi 02:14 12:11 pace

This pace definitely feels tougher for me than it has in the past. I did 4:2s so I could focus on keeping my walk pace brisk. It's still not super easy for me. But I enjoyed myself; it felt... read more

  7. RUN
    good Crypt 5k 3.25 mi 00:33 10:08 pace

This was a neat event, a 5k run through Rosehill Cemetery after dark. The path was lit with electric votive candles, but it was still tough to see the footing so I was glad I wore a headlamp. Fir... read more

  8. RUN
    blah neighborhood run/walk 2.2 mi 00:28 12:43 pace

Another not so great run, for a variety of reasons. Cut it shorter than planned. Trying to break in some new shoes, but they're just not working. Bleh.

  9. RUN
    alright neighborhood 3.6 mi 00:45 12:30 pace

Thanks! I haven't been super talkative about it, but I'm doing Indy Monumental the first week of November. It won't be a PR, but I needed to get out of my comfort zone.

I was waiting for your post because I really believe your Garmin is more accurate. Mine said 3.53, which put us at 11:50s. I like yours better.
