  2. RUN
good neighborhood run 3.54 mi 00:40 11:22 pace

It's warm out tonight! Trying to appreciate that while I can. Not a bad run. I feel like every time I run lately my foot hurts a little. More annoying than anything, but I hope it doesn&#x... read more

  3. RUN
blah neighborhood with Tim 2.9 mi 00:33 11:27 pace

Beautiful weather, and good company. But I just felt off -- sluggish and sore and headachey. Bleh.

  4. RUN
good neighborhood run 3.7 mi 00:40 10:52 pace

I didn't want to push the purring kitty off my lap and get out the door, but I'm glad I did. Glad I talked myself up from just two miles too. I reminded myself that in a few months I&#... read more

  5. RUN
    neighborhood run 3.15 mi 00:35 11:11 pace

Decent enough evening run through the neighborhood. The temp is 54 and I was way overdressed in a long-sleeve and vest.

  6. RUN
good Des Plaines River Trail half ... 13.1 mi 02:27 11:10 pace

This was a great race! Beautiful scenery and lots of good friends. One section was flooded over, so we had to crawl over a bunch of rocks, which added a few minutes. But other than that, the tra... read more

Nice! I "ran" through the section with the rocks later that afternoon when I went to cheer, and that would not have been fun during a race. Great overall time!

alright neighborhood run 2.1 mi 00:25 11:44 pace

good neighborhood run 4.2 mi 00:45 10:49 pace

Sorry it didn't feel good, but you seemed cheery enough even over the last five. We'll do fine in Des Plaines.

alright neighborhood run with Tim 3.02 mi 00:32 10:38 pace

This felt kind of tough. My shins felt super tight the whole time, and I felt more lung tired than I thought I should have felt. Humid weather. It was nice to run with Tim though.

  12. swim
good freestyle laps 1760 yd 00:43 43:00 pace

It feels like forever since I was training for Big Shoulders. It took a while to find my groove, but I eventually did. I thought about stopping after a half hour, but decided to finish out the mile.

Thanks all! Apparently, I got the timing just right -- 29:01. So no sub-29, but still a 16 second PR. Considering I didn't expect to PR at all, I'll take it!

It's a bag that goes on a rack on the back of your bike. I haven't bothered putting my rack back on my bike after the Chicago tri, but I should do that.
