Just can't seem to break through and get in a zone. Have to walk after less than a half mile. I thought this was supposed to get easier? Guess I just need to do more.

Sometimes I think it is as much mental as physical. If I know that I can stop and know that I will let myself stop, I do. If I tell myself that I just have to go one more mile, I can often break past it and go even further.

Sometimes my hardest workouts are the ones where I let myself walk a lot! I've actually watched my times and my walk-runs can end up being the same average pace as my full runs because I push myself harder on the run during the walk-run. I think it takes a long time of running to really get your own pace that feels good and you can continue. I don't think I have found it yet after 2 years!
