  1. RUN
    3.5 mi 01:07 19:05 pace

Nice walk through the park with my wife

  2. RUN
    2.75 mi 00:31 11:27 pace

Best per mile time yet. Got under 11:27 per mile. Not great but it is a start

  3. RUN
    good 3.52 mi 01:04 18:08 pace

Nice that the wife has the day off. It was a good walk.

  4. walk
    good 3.29 mi 00:59 18:02 pace

Just a nice nighttime walk with my wife.

  5. RUN
    alright 2.76 mi 00:32 11:42 pace

Just can't seem to break through and get in a zone. Have to walk after less than a half mile. I thought this was supposed to get easier? Guess I just need to do more.

Sometimes I think it is as much mental as physical. If I know that I can stop and know that I will let myself stop, I do. If I tell myself that I just have to go one more mile, I can often break past it and go even further.

Sometimes my hardest workouts are the ones where I let myself walk a lot! I've actually watched my times and my walk-runs can end up being the same average pace as my full runs because I push myself harder on the run during the walk-run. I think it takes a long time of running to really get your own pace that feels good and you can continue. I don't think I have found it yet after 2 years!

Exactly Tricia. (assuming that in this case hardest = good.)
