Another steamy morning for our long run to wrap up the week. Ran the first 11 at an easy all-day pace, then the last 5 in 7:48, 7:47, 7:36, 7:25, 7:05.
A strong finish after what had been a very tedious, patience-testing first 11 miles. Still working on running easy, sometimes it feels harder than just cutting it loose.
Have a great Sunday everyone!

Great run today, Joe!

You call this patience, I call it perseverance! I'd be happy with that kind of pace on that kind of run right now! Great job, Joe!

Hard for me to wrap my head around doing this kind of run, all the other mileage for the week and biking and swimming. Strong week and a great way to cap it off.

@Steve- I've onestly gone to essentially 4 meals a day, and it seems to be working. 7:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m. And then dinner .... The swim is what is really making me hungry! Still the same weight as our first TRI in May, about 1 lb. heavier than Boston in April, so we seem to be staying strong ...
