good Endurance Dime 10 mi 01:19 07:55 pace

Endurance week continued with an "easy 10". Coming off of last night's 35 mile bike, the legs were fighting me a bit, but was a good mental run to keep the needle just under 8:00.

Weather station said the humidity had dropped a bit, but for some reason it felt much warmer than the last few days. Summer in TX. Gotta love it.

Have a great Wednesday guys!

Yeah, I was thinking about what it must be like to live in TX this morning on my run, and wasn't liking the thought. Nice run on what will undoubtedly be a valuable week.

Great dime today Joe. Smart to keep the pace easy. Just think how strong working out in the heat is making you. Come a cool race day you'll really rock it!

@Matt, I was talking about that with @Brendon C. over lunch a couple weeks ago. Last year it was hot, hot, hot all the way until October. Then on race day for the IBM Uptown Classic 10K it cooled off below 60 for the first time in more than 4 months. Whoooosh 37:30 - New PR. I think we're going to be ready to rumble when we get to Houston in January. 2:59:XX ....

Just these past few days here in Maine have been like your mild summer days in Texas ... totally uncalled for and, for many of us, wicked brutal! Your strong continues to show and flow your endurance week ... steady on Joe!
