really weighed down by a lack of purpose and other obligations when I did this. I was totally blind to the joy that is swimming. so bogged down in my pity party I didn't enjoy the two head on collisions and foot cramps. actually did enjoy about 50 yards where I wasn't totally drowning

    for some reason, a bad swim is harder to recover from than a bad run. I blame the water.
