Didn't let myself cheat by adding a downhill finish this time, and wasn't sure how I'd feel given I'm still battling this darn cold. Plan called for 6 miles at 7:51, so I just ran hard, didn't let myself ease up, kept it "uncomfortable" but not to the point of hacking up a lung. I wound up finishing under that pace at around 7:37, and my splits were pretty even. I did have to stop 3x to blow my nose and swallow a bit of water, so I had a couple 5-10 second breaks in there that I didn't add to my time. The sweat/snot/wind facial I got this morning didn't do much for me in the beauty department, but nailing this workout gave me a nice boost of confidence going into these last 3 weeks of training!
