Barely got to warm up for the 5k (less than a mile). Cooled down a mile on my own, and then my son joined me for another 1/2 mile cool down. It was so fun to run with him over that little stretch. I look forward to when he's a bit older and we can do some longer runs together. I'm guessing I'll have a hard time keeping up with my little speed demon in a few more years!
