great Last Ride (Sault, France) 21.1 km 01:38 8.1mph pace

10k up hill. Thought my wife was going to shoot me. A picnic and a bottle of wine half way though the ride and 10k downhill home seemed to help save my life.

You'll get there. I like using tread mills to try to drop my pace. Set it for a goal pace and then just push yourself for as long as you can at that pace. I think a big trick to dropping pace is to diversify. do long runs, do short runs, do fast runs and easy runs. and I usually always try to sprint at the end of my run. A little way of telling my legs they can go faster! Oh, and stretching before hand is a great way to loosen up your muscles to allow for a longer stride which will make you faster
