Decided to stretch it out a little more today after all the 5 milers this week. Slightly cooler weather today made things a little more tolerable. Arm (whichever was holding the water bottle) and leg muscles felt oddly fatigued through much of the run (starting around mile 3) -- not sure what that was all about. Overall a pretty decent run though. HR 161 avg, 174 max. Cadence 178. 76/60F, 58H. Distancias #3.

Nice 10 spot Jim! I heard they have heavier water in Texas.. maybe that's it?

I stopped carrying a handheld for the reason (made my arm tired after a while), I prefer a small belt with 2 little bottles.

@Middalia -- I used to use a small belt and switched to handheld's because I got so sick of the belt riding up. That said, the arm fatigue was less bothersome than the leg fatigue. My hamstrings and quads were feeling tired from the 3rd mile on, and there's no real reason I can think of for that to have been happening... Maybe the legs were rebelling from the light week.

Great run, Jim. Sorry the fatigue hit, a lot of times when that happens there's a breakthrough a few miles past it and you hit a "run forever" zone. Hope it feels better this weekend!

This might be overkill, but have you ever run w/ a camelbak? So many sizes and they have improved the fit.
