good To the airport? 10.02 mi 01:16 07:32 pace

I'm staying at a different hotel in DC this week (in Rosslyn in Arlington) and didn't look at a map before I set out for my run today. I asked the guy at the front desk for advice on wher... read more

I've heard really good things about the Mount Vernon Trail. So, if you can actually get on it, you should have a good time.

  2. RUN
good Last tour of Steiner 8.28 mi 01:05 07:51 pace

If this wasn't my last tour of Steiner, it was certainly one of the last. Moving trucks show up June 6 and with all the packing to be done, it's pretty hard to find anytime to run when I ... read more

good About an hour 8.3 mi 01:01 07:20 pace

Lots on my plate today at work so this was pretty good head-clearing, get ready for the day time. I need some magic device that lets me take notes while running though -- I had what I remember to b... read more

Classic Jim - happens to me all the time. I think if you ran with your iphone and had the notepad open - you could talk and it would write it down - but when I do that in the care it looks like:

makesureyoufollowupwithJimMooreonthe ...... not overly helpful. Looking well recovered. We need to figure out when we can hook up when you are back in Austin.

good DC Dime 10.01 mi 01:13 07:19 pace

Mostly easy running this morning, though I did give it the old college on a couple of Strava segments. Managed to pick up the fastest time across the Memorial Bridge from Arlington to DC (... read more

good More mall running 7.27 mi 00:56 07:39 pace

Legs felt a little beat up this morning after yesterday's quicker 10 (clearly I'm not totally recovered from Boston yet) so I kept it to 7. Still, the weather was nice and the sightseeing... read more

good Tour of the Capital 10.03 mi 01:12 07:09 pace

The first choice didn't have quality run routes nearby??

Unfortunately I'm not sure if either choice has quality run routes nearby -- gonna need to feel that out. One of my initial criteria was finding a house within a mile of the W&OD trail, but we just couldn't find anything that met that. This house is 4 1/2 miles away from the trail :-(

Cool that you are in town for a weekend. It's a different place without the commuters. If you have time for a meetup, let me know. I'm running with a friend at about 11am Saturday and maybe 11:30 or so on Sunday. Will travel to you!
