  1. RUN
CNN and back 3.3 mi 00:31 09:23 pace

Great run through the O4W. Flurry of activity at Edgewood and Boulevard. The new Chevron is looking really nice too...might actually be able to pump gas there without fearing for my life. Icing on ... read more

  2. RUN
    good Couch to 5K - W6D2 2.67 mi 00:28 10:29 pace

Not bad considering half the run was uphill...still need to work on breathing technique though. If I could figure that out, I think I'd be able to start logging some real miles.

    good Couch to 5K - W6D1 3.1 mi 00:34 10:58 pace

Incredible run other than the fact that I forgot to wear my heart rate monitor AND i accidentally turned my Garmin off half-way through when I was attempting to turn on the backlight. So pissed tha... read more

  4. RUN
    alright Couch to 5K - W5D3 2.24 mi 00:25 11:10 pace

This one didn't go all that well. It called for a 5-minute warm-up walk and then 20 straight minutes of jogging, but I just couldn't hang and ended up walking for about sixty seconds in the middle ... read more

That's OK. Now you have some markers to gauge your next run. See if you can knock off some walking time or eliminate a walk next time out.

  5. RUN
    good Couch to 5K - W5D1 2.2 mi 00:26 11:47 pace

The hills wiped me out, but I still completed the run according to plan and feel half-way decent. Looking forward to increasing the mileage later this week.

Three more weeks until I'm running 3.1 miles and another week after that, I'll finish C25K. Apparently they give you that last week to work on perfecting your 5K run.

  6. RUN
    great Couch to 5K - W4D3 2.34 mi 00:27 11:19 pace

Perfect run in every possible sense. Weather was gorgeous, scenery was beautiful, and I had plenty of energy to get through it with ease. Why can't they all be this great?

  7. RUN
good Relegated to the treadmill 2.51 mi 00:25 10:03 pace

Kind of sucks that my first run in Ottawa had to be indoors due to rain, but I'm happy with the distance...not to mention the eye candy in the gym.

  8. RUN
    good Couch to 5K - W4D1 2.35 mi 00:27 11:17 pace

Now THAT'S more like it! Kept the pace down to around 9:15 and was able to finish strong which is WAY more satisfying than killing myself to come in at sub 9 minutes.

    blah Couch to 5K - W3D3 1.55 mi 00:18 11:36 pace

Wow - probably my worst run since starting the the Couch to 5K program. I ran out of gas extremely quickly and it was an absolute struggle to make it back home. I wonder if it had anything to do wi... read more

    good Couch to 5K - W3D2 1.84 mi 00:23 12:28 pace

Definitely a much better run than yesterday's. Didn't feel much in the way of pain (finally) and I was able to pace myself so by the end, I actually felt like I could have kept going (love that fee... read more

    alright Couch to 5K - W3D1 1.78 mi 00:23 12:57 pace
