right guys - out of nowhere I have excruciating back of knee pain. I can rest tomorrow as it's a travel day, but any ideas as to how to remedy this? It's very annoying; I need my legs to be a tourist!

I've had that before but it never lasted long. No idea how to treat it though. I hope it clears up for you fast Julie.

Foam rolling as usual- quads hams itband inseam - de the NM release, not just the massage - 90-120 hold on tight spots. I had the same problem for 2 weeks, but my last race sorted it out.

I had a torn meniscus, very painful. When I pressed on the outsides of my knee, the pain was much worse. Best thing to do in a case like that: see a doctor asap. She'll figure out very quickly what's going on.
