Long Run 20 mi

It was disappointing last long run before the Shamrock marathon. The first 13 miles were at an awesome 10 minute mile pace. I got sick at mile 16 and 18, so the last few miles were painful (stomach cramps). I wasn't exepecting a great run because of being sick all week. I was disappoined in myself, but that run is behind me now and I need to focus on the next two weeks and the marathon. This long run shook my confidence for the marathon.

    Listen here Missy ... I don't like this whiny pants attitude. You are gonna go out there, run your race, and DESTROY that marathon. Dont make me come out there and run along side of you! ... you would not want that.

    Julia-Faye, you got this! Don't let one run get you down. Yes, 20 miles is an important training run, but focus on the big picture. You will do great at the marathon!

    I wish you could have run with us on Saturday, too. It was fun to be back were we ran the half.
