Hilly run. This route is my new challenge for summer. I will conquer all the hills on this route by the end of summer. I have been feeling slow lately and this run was no exception. The legs have been feeling good lately, so I am not sure what is causing my lack of speed.


Perhaps it was the hills?
You need to start timing yourself. Use that fancy watch you bought. You could just be feeling slow but actually be running faster.

I was using my watch except for when I stopped at a long traffic light and forgot to turn it back on. According to my watch (for the part of the run that was timed) I was slow and its frustrating, but I have more time on my hands to work on it now. Flat tempo or speed work out tomorrow.
