Didn't go running yesterday because of knee pain, and it's going to be the same story today. It is getting better, but not as quickly as I would like it to. I should be able to run tomorrow.

Take it easy and let is heal before you go running again

Yep...decided that it was better to take a while off. Too bad I still have to prep for my 5k on Labor Day! I will do ok, even if I have to walk.

Running in the rain is awesome, keeps you cool and allows you to push a little more! Take care of those knees and don't expect the same pace from before you stopped running. It takes time to get the body and all the systems back on track and working together after even the smallest vacation from running. Take your time getting back into it so you don't injure yourself.

hmm, changing bath soaps? I recently (over-)bleached ALL my whites (that's a crispy fresh feel/smell) maybe that can help.

Good suggestions from Alexis. Also, do you eat differently when you run? Diet can also effect how you smell. Try google searching and/or talking to your doctor, too.

Do you separate your running clothes from your normal clothes when doing laundry? I know the running store I go to sells a special soap that is suppose to stop that workout odor from staying in your clothes.

Mike, that might be the ticket (the special soap). Not sure what else to do. I don't want to be repulsive, but I don't want to stop running, either. I don't think that it's my diet; that really hasn't changed at all. I will talk to my Dr. about it, too, but I thought since we are a running community, maybe someone else has had a similar experience. Thanks all!
