I placed 2nd Women's Overall which was awesome and a great motivation!! Not too bad for someone who hasn't ran in over a year and just getting back to it!! :)
I registered for a small local 5k called the Running Reverend in Baton Rouge. It was sponsered by a church called Abounding Ministries and they were raising money for their youth outreach called S.T.A.R.S. Not only did I fully enjoy the race but I really loved the volunteers and the community coming together for this great cause. I will definitely do it again next year
