Sad news, Daily Mile friends. I'm not going to run the NJ Marathon on May 2. I could point to a handful of reasons why I hurt my hip, but right now that's a moot point.

But I'm not going to stop all together. I'm going to see if I can run the 1/2 marathon that's being held on the same day. The Ocean Drive 10 is on March 28, and you better believe I'm going to be there.

I'm sad. I am. But I'm also in a lot of pain, and it keeps me up at night. I feel lighter having made this decision today. Really.

    Sad to hear you won't be doing the full. If you're in pain should you still be doing both the 10-miler and the half? Is the injury something you have someone look at?

    Justin - I could keep going, but I'm choosing not to. Given my crap insurance, seeing someone isn't an option right now. I'll be fine.
