I had all sorts of meetings in Philadelphia today and decided to walk unless the weather got bad. Well, I walked until it was time to take a cab home. Glad I tallied this up. Had no IDEA I walked t... read more
7x400. Intervals done at 8.0 (7:30 pace) and rests dome at 6.5 (9:13) pace. Felt pretty good - like I could have gone faster at the end.
Guestimate on the time since my garmin crapped out exactly as I hit the two mile mark. Nice run. Legs a little tired from yesterday but pushed through it. Concentrated on hills to keep the same pac... read more
Not good. Still sick from head cold and wheezed the whole time. I'm sure running through exhaust and cigarette smoke didn't help. P.S. WHO STILL SMOKES?!

I may start stealing the cigarettes of people I run by who are smoking. Especially those on the running path.

At home workout. Spent the day waiting for the contractor who never came, so no gym time. BLAH.

At home workout. Just about the same as at the gym, though I used my dog as a weight for squats instead of a medicine ball :-)
Hand still healing, though I did do 30 pushups (yes, I was on my knee... read more
Walked my dog for warm up since she's been trapped inside all weekend. I think she needed it more than I did.
BOOM PACE RUN BOOM!
My goal for the OD 10 is under a 1:19, so I wanted to run at a 7:54 pace.
Didn't feel so good at first, I thought there was no way I could maintain.

My hand is almost healed, but I want to give it a few more days before I started grabbing weights. Pretty good workout - added a few exercises from Running Times for my hip.
Yay happy you are feeling better :)
