    This was a good workout but not as intense as Plyo. I thought it would be good to add ab ripper since I still had some energy.

      I thought the Kenpo was kind of lame, until I started using a heavy bag with it. That really ramped up the intensity and I enjoyed the workouts a lot!

    good Lake Overholser 22 mi 01:05 20.3mph pace

    Found a new trail in OKC alongside Lake Overholser. It was a nice change from Lake Hefner. There's a great 7 mile trail out there to do a long run. Probably go back on Sunday.

    Yeah for picking up the pace. I thought I was going to feel awful but I got a second wind and some Michael Jackson blasting in my ear, so that helps.

    My dog ran with me for the first time in a while. He was not so excited about running that long so we often had to stop. However, the weather was great and hasn't been this cool in a while.

    It was good to get in my tempo run this early in the week. I'm going out of town and don't want to miss the essentials of training when doing this.

    Did an easy run on the treadmill this morning followed by an hour of power pump...my triceps are not going to feel good tomorrow.

    Ahh...air conditioning. It felt so much better than Wednesday's workout. I'm going to get up bright and early Sunday morn to miss this hot weather for my long run.

    Hotter than hot. I wanted to do 6, but the sun was beating down at 7:30 in the evening. I have to remember that if I want to get in an evening run, I should go at 9.

      Those are cute. I'm a big fan of the shepharding breeds. They make great running dogs as long as it isn't too hot.
