    Hard work running with the buggy. Lovely day, but legs tired. was meant to do 7 miles, but went the wrong way. Oh well

    Great run. Felt really strong. Did 10k in 48min. Did 3x10min at threshold pace and 2min recoveries. Then ran fast again for the last bit of the 10k.

      grrrr, what an expensive pain. Might be worth getting it checked out. Must be specialist running shops in Dublin that do that kind of thing...

      yeah I actually did get fitted in August in runways but he fitted me with the totally wrong shoe type. I went and got my gait analysed yesterday with Irish Fit and it turns out that there's a couple of things wrong with my feet, one leg shorter than the other which adds more strain and there are muscle imbalances (I was expecting that, I have really strong quads from running but that's about it!) So he's added a couple of lifts to my insoles orthotic things and he's going to come up with a strength plan

      Wow you've gotten sooo much faster!!! Running 7.30min miles is soo intense! I keep meaning to wear my heart rate monitor see what state my heart gets in when I try to run that fast.

    Hills session. Did 3min at incline of 4,6,8,10% and back down again with 2 min recovery each time. Hard work at the time, but I missed running fast and didn't feel like i had pushed myself

    First run after a nasty cold. Took it 'easy' and focused on pace. Ran 5min at 9:30, 5min at 8:30 and 5min at 7:30min miles, then repeated it with a short break. Did 10min warm up and cool down.

  17. Ahhhhh, nice to be back! I had a fantastic holiday and managed to get loads of runs in. Not sure I can remember them all, but will post date them. Galway HM on Saturday - hoping for around 2 hours...
