      I've been having piriformis problems and, even sitting down for long periods can aggravate it - seems to take forever to heal as well! Rolling with a tennis ball has been very effective for me, maybe worth a try? Good experiment, sorry it didn't work out.

      For me, it is usually fine during the activity but my sciatic nerve punishes me over the next 24 hours! If I were you, I would run! However, I am not known for my sound medical advice ;-)

      hmmm... maybe the unpredictability of my thing points to more of a nerve thing than a muscle thing. Something to think about and take note of. I appreciate unsound advice as much or more than other types ... especially from a fellow running addict. Thanks!! :)

      Accessing fuel stored, that is excellent. Realizing that has been significant for me. I've cut back on all the carbs lately to get that process to work better. Cutting back on carbs, who would have thought that would work. LOL.
