Great pace for me on this short (and pretty hilly) route! I had been planning to sneak out for an easy 6-miler on my own, but when the dog saw me, he looked soooo hopeful and excited, I had to tak... read more

Already had my warm-up lap with Tucker, so felt loose and ready to roll on this solo stretch. I felt like I was going at a good pace, but I kept feeling like I could trip or just fall over at any ... read more

Run-Walk, then Run - with Tucker. First mile was a lot of stop-and-go, then we got cookin'. The lilacs are in bloom and they smell amazing!

Chris, I agree a doggie play date is in order! Speaking of dogs, Tim and I have had great debates lately about how safe it is for Tucker to run longer distances (over 2 or 3 miles). I know I asked about this before, and Willow is only a puppy ..... Alan, you've run with your dogs - What do you think?

Sounds like a plan is brewing.
Dogs - we were advise to break Willow in with her being a pup, so we gradually phased her up to 5 miles now. Shepard's and Labs are good running dogs and good for double digit miles so do not worry. Just take it easy and build Tucker up, also i do not run Willow back to back days if i do over 4 miles right now.
