Break out that guitar! I'm doing some cross training, making some noise with this fiddle. I've resting the feet and legs today. I hope he gets to feeling better soon. Good thoughts and prayers heading your way.

Good for you stretching the comfort zone with your music. That's excellent, about the music therapy groups. That playing in front of others is something I really need to do. I need to get out of my little musical cocoon.

  5. RUN
    great 10.05 mi 01:39 09:49 pace

BEST run I've had in a long time. Bolted off for a quick first few miles, then tanked midway through, and especially on the later hills, but it was still nice! No attention paid to keeping H... read more

  13. RUN
    alright 6.36 mi 01:09 10:50 pace

Aerobic HR run. Unlike my need for speed on Friday, today I was content to waddle along, in part due to the 3 pounds I gained yesterday eating fair food - french fries, whoopie pie, mac & chee... read more

Waddle on, Girl! For me a lot of those "fun" food make me sluggish and slow. So I have to be careful around them. Also, I can't stop eating them once I start. Of course hitting those hills, you'll burn all of off like rocket fuel. Yes, yes! it's progress.

Yea, Jen! That break-over never ceases to amaze me. I'll start a workout with that achy sluggishness then "it" happens, I'm busting out some serious HR's. I'm getting to rely on it more and more. It's nice to know now that I can toe-up to the start line being in a funk then it turns into something that I'm really glad I did. Excellent.

good Pepperell Covered Bridge 5K 3.1 mi 00:26 08:18 pace

Holy moly, my splits were all over the place. I'm sure the first mile was my fastest time ever, a PB for pace. Then, I tanked. Relatively speaking. Still a pretty good first 5K race. Made me ... read more
