One of the CES coaches advised me not to eat anything on my run at Steelhead (he said this was against the CES party line). HIs reasoning was that at that point the stomach can't digest anything. He said the bike was the time to take things in. I'm afraid to NOT eat on the run, but I was pacing the 11s when we had this nutrition convo so he knows how long my run will take. Towards the end of a marathon orange slices are the only thing my stomach wants to take in as well.

at Steelhead last year I was able to eat for the first half of the course. If I'm being honest with myself, I felt queezy even during the swim and wonder if it was what I had for breakfast.
