This absolutely killed me. I was completely spent after round 3 with 2 to go. Brutal.
Total - 14 rounds + 9 reps
Let's see if I can explain this .... you had 5x3min rounds with 1 min rest in b/w each round. As many rounds as possible + extra reps within those 3 minutes. Total rounds + reps.
1 round was:
- 3 thrusters (95# bb)
- 6 box jumps (24")
- 9 kb swings
1st rd - 3 rounds + 9 reps (made it into the 4th round and completed thrusters and box jumps)
2nd rd - 3 rounds
3rd rd - 3 rounds
4th rd - 2 rounds
5th rd - 3 rounds
After the first round, I stopped immediately after the 3rd round to give myself an extra 15 sec rest. On the 4th round, I stopped after 2 rounds and gave myself and extra 45 seconds rest. Glad the trainer didn't see me do that, but I knew I wasn't going to complete the 3rd round and wanted to get an even 3 on round number 5. This hurt!
